Firle Place is just a short 7-minute drive from Lewes, 25 minutes from Brighton and around 1.5 hours from South London.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, we’d recommend either Firle, Alfriston, Lewes or Brighton.

For the more quaint country stay and closer location go with Firle, Alfriston, Lewes. Lewes is a gorgeous historic town with cobbled streets, independent shops, and plenty of cozy pubs. It’s a lovely place to wake up on the morning of the wedding, with charming B&Bs and boutique hotels to choose from. Plus, it’s super close to the venue, making it a really convenient option.

If you’d rather make a weekend of it, Brighton is a fantastic choice. With its famous seafront, buzzing nightlife, and endless restaurants, there’s plenty to see and do. Whether you fancy exploring The Lanes, grabbing fish and chips on the beach, or just soaking up the atmosphere, Brighton has something for everyone.
